Message :the ECU hits a different cells in the map. Do you have a wideband in the car? would be intresting to see what the AFR was during this..

Well, I can tell you from my highly trained motor head nose that it get's real rich when this happens. I ordered a blazt today that I will have tomorrow, so I will be able to see that.

The weird thing is that I can't tell if the timing is dropping because the RPM's are, or if it's the other way around. When that happens, the reveolutions slow way down obviously, and with less vacuum, the pressure goes up on the regulator, thus the rich condition as it works it's way towards dying.
